The photo contest is still going! ...and we are still receiving photos...deadline to enter is March 15th. But, I think next time I will begin the photo submission time and end it 10 days later or something. I don't want to do any one a dis-service by posting their photo 2 weeks after the first submissions. But, there could be a "sneaker-winner" in one of the last 2 images I posted.
So far...pssst...better whisper (but I don't think anyone is reading this anyway) so far "Ranger" is in the lead.
Will he be booted off his throne by a swift parrot photo swooping in with more voting friends??
I don't know.

What I do know, is that I am glad that so many people out there are hearing about Cavalier Bird Toys and the donation efforts they put forth for helping out abused and neglected pet birds.
I think its great what they do.

By the way...why hasn't anyone shown interest in designing a toy for their pet bird?

Cavalier Bird Toys photo contest is EXPLODING!

So glad to see that our photo contest has engaged SO many people and bird lovers to our facebook page!
The cool thing is that anyone can vote and anyone can submit a photo! The entries get voted on by viewers of the page and also their friends...I see that some of our entries already 'get that' and have posted many times to their own pages trying to get their facebook friends to vote for them! (Smart thinking!)
With the success of this contest, we will be sure to do it again!
The only thing is...how do I keep the same person from winning all of the time??
I have some ideas, but I really don't want to put too many rules on this contest.
We're also thinking of making other contests like a "Toy Design" contest...or "Favorite bird-food recipe" contest.
What do you think?

What kind of toys make your bird happiest?

Foraging, foot toys, preening, chew toys, exercise equipment, swings, chains...?
What sorts of toys has your bird liked the best?
